Maria came to our shelter in January of 2011. She was brought in after a local resident found her living under his porch, and as we know, the winter months in this area are not kind to strays.
Maria is easily one of the sweetest felines in our shelter and would make a wonderful pet. She absolutely loves attention and being petted. Whenever a human walks into the shelter, she is the first to greet them. That said, she would do best in a home with no cats as she tends to "protect her territory."
Adoption Process
1. Fill out adoption application
2. Return application to our office and arrange for an adoption interview
3. If your application is approved, we will then make arrangements
for you to pick up the pet and sign the adoption agreement
4. Our standard adoption fee is $100 for cats. All our pets are spayed/neutered and vaccinated for rabies and distemper. All cats are feline leukemia and AIDS negative.
