Ivy's Place is a humane education center and pet supply shop. An open house was held on November 25, 2006, people were able to see the pet supply shop, education center and the new cat shelter.
The humane education center is the first of its kind in Rhode Island; it was open with a grant awarded to us by the Rhode Island Foundation. The funds awarded to us by the foundation will be used to help pay the staff of the education center and some of the materials used in the center. Once fully operational, the education center will be a resource for the public. There will be:
- A computer too look up information on animal care and welfare
- Various animal care and welfare books
- Classes on animal care
- Seminars on animal welfare issues
The pet supply shop is already up and running. The shop sell all kinds of animal supplies and products for cats, dog and birds. The inventory is still growing so, please stop by and check it out. Some of the products we have are:

- Pet Beds
- Dishes
- Cat & Dog toys
- Bird feeders, houses and seed
- Basic grooming supplies
